|Description||Haemanthus, Scadoxus, Blood Lily. It is a striking bulbous plant native to a large area in South Africa.
Blood Lilies are great as house plants in a conservatory and are hardy enough to grow outside in summertime. These plants cannot tolerate and survive frost in winter-like conditions.
Water once a week after planting and ensure that the soil does not dry out. When the leaf starts to turn yellow, the bulb goes into dormancy.
|Flowering time||July, August|
