Very striking white flowers with a purple flame. Crocus chrysanthus species are early flowering, naturalise well and are a great source of nectar and pollen for bees in the winter. Tip: plant several C. chrysanthus species in groups next to each other.

Kleine bloem. In groepjes planten.

De bloem valt een beetje tegen, want klein in vergelijking met een gewone crocus. Zeker in groepjes dicht bijeen planten, want anders valt de bloem niet echt op. Ik heb ze waarschijnlijk ook te laat geplant, eind nov, en is slecht de helft tot bloei gekomen...
